Mike Clark

Mike was born and raised in Zimbabwe where he worked for the largest, privately owned company in Southern Africa, the Treger Group, for 13 years. He graduated from an intensive four year internal production management program as one of only three people to ever achieve distinction. Being a certified work study practitioner, industrial manager and trainer Mike moved from production to technical management, responsible for client liaison on a local and international level.

Moving to New Zealand in 2004 gave Mike the opportunity to change career and he became operations manager for Pridex kitchens. During this time Mike became a business mentor with BMNZ, completed the Smart Business Acceleration course and started presenting workshops on team building for the local EDA, Vision Manawatu. Mike then joined Vision Manawatu as their Business Advisor, coordinating the Enterprise training program, Business Mentors, the Young Enterprise scheme and handling the Business Information Zone (BIZ). Meeting Ambrose Blowfield and discovering someone with the same vision, drive and enthusiasm for life, combined with a “can-do” attitude focused on getting results, lead to Mike joining The Marketing Company in March 2009 where he heads their Manawatu and Lower North Island operations.
