The Marketing Company

We saw a gap in the market in New Zealand for a company to offer small to medium businesses world class sales and marketing training at an affordable price.

We passionately believe that most companies in New Zealand are expert "technicians" but not always the best sellers or marketers.  In 2004 we started the company, Clarity NZ Ltd, to fill this gap.  In 2006 we decided to re-brand and re-name our company The Marketing Company Ltd.  We feel that our new name better represents our full range of services. 

We have already helped companies with the branding and re-branding process. Now we’re even more experienced in re-branding having fully re-branded, from the initial decision to roll-out in under six weeks. We can now help our clients re-brand even better and faster than before, because we've done it ourselves!

Why did we pick The Marketing Company as our name?

The Marketing Company sums up our services in three words. We look after everything to do with marketing, sales and training. It is straight to the point with no mucking around.
 

Why did we pick this logo?

The dandelion. The Marketing Company recognizes that marketing is the spreading of messages.  The dandelion form has been used to represent that message. The dandelion starts with the solid base of the complete flower, and the spreading of the message is represented by the departing of the seeds as they take flight to propagate the market. The seeds get more colourful as they reach the market to deliver their message.
 

Why have we picked these colours?

We wanted to portray the strength of the foundation of The Marketing Company, so we have used a deep blue as the base. It represents the trust, dependability, loyalty and professionalism upon which the The Marketing Company prides itself. We have also used aqua to represent the actions of The Marketing Company. It’s a tertiary colour that lifts itself from the deep blue and lights the way towards the magenta pink. The magenta pink represents the bright spark; a fantastic, eye-catching representation of the right message going out into the marketplace.
